Plaosan Temple, The Twin Temple In Yogyakarta – You do not need to hurry back to you motel after visiting Prambanan temple, because not far from this most beautiful Hindu temple in the world, you can find another temples that has same interesting in yogya. Only 1 km into north, you can find Plaosan temple, a temple that establish by Rakai Pikatan for his queen, Pramudyawardani. This temple is situates on bugisan village, Prambanan district. The architecture of this temple is combination between Hindu and Buddha.

Plaosan complex is divides into 2 two groups. There are Plaosan Lor temple and plaosan Kidul temple. Both of those temples have the square terrace that around by wall, meditation place that form just like guardhouse on the west and stupa on another side. Because of the similarity that they have, Plaosan Lor and Kidul are almost same if you see the appearance of these temples from far place. The people calls Plaosan temple as the Twin temples.
